Come to Luxor and you will see why it is so great an attraction here in Egypt. This is where you would get the world’s largest museum in open air. This has been built in the site around the area of Thebes. Many tourists have been visiting this region of Luxor since the times of the Greco Romans.

Come to the city of Luxor and enjoy the pleasures of this city and see how this city which was built by Amenophis III the New Kingdom Pharaoh really looks spectacular and magnificent and how tourists love to visit this land.

Then there is the Mummification Museum where you would find everything that you wanted about how mummies are mummified and how birds, reptiles and humans were mummified.

Then you could go to the Luxor Museum which has all the relics that you wanted and that you could find in the Theben temples. This museum has the best sights and the experience is something that you would remember for the rest of your lives.

Then go to Karnak and see the fascinating temples here. Karnak was earlier known as Ipet –isut. This is the most preferred and the most selected place here. The Karnak temple complex has been existing since 1500 years and has been the most important place of worship in the ancient regions of Egypt. The area is huge and measures around 800 by 1500 metres and is a great place with obelisks, pylons, kiosks, and all these are dedicated to Theban gods. This is supposed to be the largest surviving complex in the entire world. Don’t forget to see the Hypostyle Hall in the Great Amun temple. There are sound and light performances here which give the best views for the tourist.

Then you could visit the Ancient Thebes which is on the West bank. Cross the River Nile and go to the West of the city and you would see that there is so much area to cover that the guided tours normally go to the three tombs at the major sites which are famous archaeologically.

Then there is the Valley of the Kings to see which is the place where the pharaoh is buried and hopes to meet the Gods after their life is over. This is the region where the tomb of Tutankhamun has been discovered. This happened in the year 1920 and has not been touched ever since and is perhaps the best that non archaeologists could ever know. He was a small king and had amassed some wealth which is seen in the tomb.

Then there is the Valley of the Queen which in the necropolis on the southern end. This is the place where the children and the queens were interred. There are four tombs which the visitors can see. Queen Nefertari’s tomb is the tomb that everyone go to see.

Then there is the Colossi of Memnon which is a place where there are two huge statues which make up the magnificence of this place. All the visitors get a glance of this lovely place as they go up to the Valley of the Kings. It is a wonderful sight to see them so close and to feel the beauty.

But remember that when you come to Luxor in Egypt not all the tombs are open as many of them are closed for restoration reasons.

Luxor in Egypt is a place with the ideal travel attractions and the most fascinating regions in this part of the world.

Africa, the land of mystique and fantasy, and the best place to be in to experience great wildlife pleasures. Benin, in Africa a great exciting locale to visit and an ideal travel getaway spot. Get to know some of the fascinating things to do in Benin.

So starting from visiting the place around, do make it a point to go to the Tata Somba Houses in the region of Boukoumbe. This is an hour from the small village called Natitingou.
See Monrovia the small peninsular area between the River Mesurado and the sea, enjoy the pep and the spirit that is felt here. This place is an ideal travel spot with the best restaurants and the perfect travel ambience. The Heartbreak Restaurant is a great joint for all those who come here. With the best Lebanese appetizers and the ideal burgers and pastas, this is a gourmet’s delight.

Visit the Masonic temple and see this major landmark in this part of Africa. The Americo-Liberian descendants were the original settlers of this place. This temple was a symbol of all the previous regimes here and was completely vandalized in the coup that happened here in the year 1980. Then the Masonic order was banned. See the grand master’s throne here in the temple which was once upon a time used by William Tubman. This is today in display in the national museum. Visit Ghana and come back with a treasure chest of travel stories. Read on to know more about what are the things to do while in Ghana, Africa.

Go to the Mole National Park here which is extremely popular in this part of the world. Ghana, Africa is home to this lovely hub of verdant expanse and it is slightly a little more expensive than the other places in Ghana, yet is worth the visit.

Then you have the lovely beaches in Kokrobite which enchant you with their stupendous scenic splendor, and also make you comfortable in their lovely expanse of sand. Make sure you are careful around this beach area which lie near the cities. These beaches might not be what you expect as they are a little different from other beach spots in the world. The water is a little dirty here. The Accra beach too is quite popular. But the surroundings are magnificent and the ambience is ideal for a perfect vacation.

The Tagbo waterfalls are another major attraction in Ghana, Africa and they ensure you get the best adventure experience. Tourists like to go to this zone and go on a hike. There is a magnificent 50 minute walk that takes you through the beautiful rain forests here and introduces you to one of the most fascinating and mesmerizing sights in this part of Ghana. The waterfall with its simplistic beauty is a perfect treat for the eye. In fact the local villagers say that their ancestors used to consider the Tagbo as very sacred and it is still today looked upon with a lot of reverence.

The next destination is the Tafi monkey sanctuary which is a great spot lying into eh middle of the lovely TAfi Atome Village. The cornucopia of forests of the tropical kind here, the flora here is enviable and luscious. There are some endangered species here and this makes the sanctuary more popular.

Ghana, Africa has its share of religious monuments too. So the Larabanga Mosque is no surprise here. Situated near Mole it is a great pilgrim spot. This is a great example of the stick and mud mosque and has lot of legendary history behind it.

The next place that you could visit is the Fiema Boateng Money Sanctuary which is a unique place with its variety of monkeys. This is considered a very sacred spot and is said to be the place where the Geoffroy’s Columbus and the Campbell’s Mona live together.

Then you could go to the Anomabou’s fort which is a fort built by the British. It was built in the year 1674 and was made of durable materials. It was earlier called the Fort Charles in memory of the reigning king King Charles II. But it was then abandoned as there were more activities on fort Carolusburg near Cape Coast.

Then you have the Centre for Natinoal Culture which gives you a host of stalls selling arts and crafts. It is located in Accra. The Manhyia Palace Museum at Kumasi in Ghana is also a major tourist favourite.
